Washington, D.C. – Rep. Kristi Noem will meet with U.S. Forest Service Chief Tom Tidwell on Thursday, November 7 to discuss the pine beetle crisis in the Black Hills.  A press conference will be held immediately following the meeting. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Rep. Noem, Chief Tidwell, Tom Troxel (Black Hills Forest Resources Association) and Dan Beuhler (Neiman Timber Company) will speak at a press conference immediately following the meeting.  They will discuss their aerial tour and site visit of pine beetle damage that occurred earlier that day as well as provide feedback on the meeting.
