Rep. Kristi Noem will be in Hartford and Sioux Falls on Thursday, March 28th. She will visit the Ag Science class at West Central High School to see their presentation about school lunch regulations and will present a flag to Rosa Parks Elementary in Sioux Falls.

Background: On February 27th, a statue of Rosa Parks was dedicated in Statuary Hall, making Rosa Parks the first black woman to be honored with a life-size statue in the Capitol. In honor of this event, Rep. Noem ordered an American flag to be flown that day over the U.S. Capitol. Rep. Noem will present this flag to the administration, faculty and students of Rosa Parks Elementary during a school assembly.
