South Dakota War College: Congresswoman Kristi Noem's Health Care Reform Roundtable in Brookings
Interesting stuff at Congresswoman Krist Noem’s Health Care round table today. I was only able to stay for about half of it, but it’s evident that there are a lot of ramifications that Obamacare has on citizens, employers, and health care providers.
During the short period i was there, it was one tale after another.
A small employer explained that owning a couple of businesses, they had to sell one, and vastly modernize another to keep the number of employees down under 50, so they would not be considered a large employer.
A health care provider spoke about how they were unable to shift costs, and that Obamacare is forcing them to try to do more with less. There’s more bad debt from patients, and it reduces what they can pay their employees just to keep pace on their own health care.
These are only a couple of examples of the problems and misery that Obamacare has inflicted on South Dakota.
